Inspiration Monday....Simple things


.....a place to sit and......
ponder
pray
reminisce
think
dwell
listen
hope
dream


a cold glass of milk with something chocolate

fresh sheets

glowing candles

fireplace fires

hot tea

hot cocoa

warm bread fresh from the oven

a meal with the family....at the dinner table

making a new friend

old family photos

new family photos

a new firepit for the front porch

finding your roommate has done the remaining dishes from the party the night before

companionship

loyalty

photography

writing

laundry fresh from the dryer

a baby's laughter

wishes

the anticipation of Christmas

faith

belief

the sun setting behind the barn

medium rare rib eye with a baked potato slathered in butter, sour cream and bacon bits

the shape of a heart....literally and figuratively

    What a fabulously heart warming list. I love the photograph of the chair, of sitting down and thinking about all these delightful pleasures..to reminisce and think forward. The anticipation of Christmas...now there is a very simple pleasure that I don't think we lose from our childhood!! :)

    Great list! I remember have a fire in the fireplace as a child, I would wait all year for those two cold nights. Still makes me happy to think about sitting in that warmth.

    As you can see, I am SO behind in reading all the blogs that I follow. For that, I apologize. The Wi-Fi where we are staying at is soooo slow.

    I could sit in that chair in your photo, for hours. I love the simple things you have listed.
