Update to difibrillator issue, I was able to activate my COBRA insurance, at a 65% discount.....seems Prez Obama enacted something (remember, I don't watch the news, so, I'm in the dark about some of these things....) that gives the unemployed who had medical insurance a break for 9 months of the 18 you can draw COBRA, on their premiums...Yahooooo ! So, at least that hurdle has been eliminated.....I will get my surgery paid for....without having to sell everything I own.....mostly. Yay!
So, I will be off to the coast for the day, celebrating of sorts...one last trip before all hell breaks loose....school, surgery, you know, the busy season, etc.....

So glad for you. Don't those things come with a warranty? And weren't you told it would last 10 years not 4? Seems to me the manufacturer should pick up the rest of the cost.

oh, that is a big relief! i've been thinking about your surgery/insurance issue everytime i read an article about reforming health care in the US. i'm glad it will work out ok!
